Crustacean and protozoan parasites of some cyprinid fish living in the Murat River (Bingöl-Türkiye), with new host records

Some Cyprinid fish species: Cyprinion macrostomum (Heckel, 1843), Capoeta umbla Chondrostoma regium and Squalius cephalus (Linnaeus, 1758) living naturally in the Murat River, were investigated for Protozoan Crustacean parasite fauna their distribution. Fish samples collected from different stations between July 2017 - June 2019, examined Bingöl University Zoology Research Laboratory, data explained with various variables. The normality test revealed that not normally distributed (p< 0.05), as large samples, so non-parametric tests data. A total of 365 examined, 100 (27.4%) infected at least one or parasite. Four species recorded on fish, namely Ichthyophthirius multifiliis Trichodina sp. belonging to phylum Ciliophora (Protozoan), Ergasilus sieboldi, Lamproglena pulchella Arthropoda (Crustacean). As a result this study, first time, parasites cyprinid according host species, seasonal distribution, size, new records reported three parasites.
